The artworks of Carlos Muñoz Jiménez encapsulate   his global experience. Having grown up in exotic and turbulent settings (such as Colombia, Uganda, Bolivia, Ethiopia, and Kenya) enriched his pictorial language and technique. 

Further exposure to the encyclopedic scope of the art world and his international travel have given his work a uniqueness rarely found. His openness to alien cultures with rich visual and oral traditions closes the circle that challenges him to create works that embody all of humanity.
